ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED · TERMS

Terms &
Conditions

The terms that explain how our project consultancy services are described, agreed, arranged and delivered.

Effective immediately
A clear agreement before work begins.

Clear scope. Clear responsibilities.

These Terms & Conditions apply to consultancy services provided by ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED. They are intended to make the scope of our services, the way work is arranged and the responsibilities of both parties clear before a service begins.

01

About these terms

ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED provides professional project consultancy services including project planning, scheduling, supplier and contractor coordination, progress monitoring and practical delivery support.

These terms apply together with the specific service description, agreed scope, stated price, delivery arrangement and any written information confirmed for the relevant service.

Where a specific written agreement has been made with a client, that agreement will apply to the extent that it lawfully varies these standard terms.

02

Our services

Our services are consultancy and coordination services. The exact scope depends on the service selected and the requirements agreed before work begins.

Project Planning Consultation £32.80 45-minute consultation with practical planning notes and a written summary.
Project Schedule Review £47.50 Review of an existing schedule, key dates, sequencing and outstanding actions.
Project Coordination Consultation £61.00 60-minute consultation covering coordination requirements and agreed next actions.
Supplier Coordination Support £88.40 Review of supplier information, coordination requirements and agreed follow-up actions.
Project Progress Review £129.90 Review of project information, progress, outstanding actions and practical next steps.
Project Delivery Support Session £156.00 Up to 90 minutes of structured project consultancy with a written follow-up summary.

The current service description and applicable price should always be checked before an order or service agreement is made.

03

How a service is agreed

An enquiry does not by itself create a contract. Before work begins, the relevant service, scope, price, required information and delivery arrangement will be confirmed.

A contract is formed when ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED accepts the customer’s request for the relevant service and the agreed terms have been confirmed.

Where additional requirements are requested after the original scope has been agreed, they may require a separate quotation or separate service agreement.

04

Information required from the client

The quality and timing of consultancy work can depend on the information supplied by the client.

The client should provide information that is reasonably required for the agreed service, including where relevant:

  • project requirements and objectives;
  • existing schedules or planned dates;
  • relevant supplier or contractor information;
  • documents or project notes required for review;
  • contact information needed for agreed coordination; and
  • any material changes that could affect the agreed scope.

If required information is delayed, incomplete or materially changed, the agreed delivery timing may need to be adjusted accordingly.

05

Delivery and timing

Delivery times depend on the service selected, the availability of the relevant information and appointment availability.

  • Project Planning Consultation: normally arranged within 3 working days of receiving the required information and confirming availability.
  • Project Schedule Review: normally delivered within 3 working days after all required project information has been received.
  • Project Coordination Consultation: appointment normally arranged within 5 working days, subject to availability.
  • Supplier Coordination Support: normally delivered within 5 working days after the required information and agreed requirements have been received.
  • Project Progress Review: normally delivered within 5 working days after all required information has been received.
  • Project Delivery Support Session: appointment normally arranged within 5 working days, subject to availability.

Written summaries or action notes are normally provided within the timeframe stated in the relevant service description.

These are normal service targets rather than guaranteed completion dates unless a specific date has been expressly agreed in writing.

06

Consultancy role

ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED provides consultancy, planning and coordination support. We do not act as a construction contractor, installer, specialist engineer or physical-goods supplier unless a separate written agreement expressly states otherwise.

Our recommendations and project information are intended to support planning and coordination. The client remains responsible for decisions concerning their own project and for appointing suitably qualified professionals where specialist services are required.

07

Suppliers and contractors

Where a service involves communication or coordination with a supplier or contractor, ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED’s role is limited to the agreed consultancy and coordination scope.

Third-party suppliers and contractors remain responsible for their own quotations, specifications, workmanship, materials, programme, insurance, contractual obligations and statutory responsibilities.

Unless expressly agreed otherwise in writing, ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED does not guarantee the performance, availability, pricing, workmanship or completion date of a third-party supplier or contractor.

08

Client responsibilities

The client is responsible for providing accurate information and responding to reasonable requests needed to deliver the agreed service.

The client should notify us promptly if project information, requirements, key dates or relevant contacts change.

We may need to pause or rearrange a service where essential information has not been supplied or where proceeding would materially change the agreed scope.

09

Service appointments

Where a service includes a consultation or meeting, the agreed appointment time will be confirmed with the client.

Face-to-face consultations are provided where this has been agreed for the relevant service. Remote arrangements may be used where separately agreed.

If a client needs to change an appointment, they should contact us as soon as reasonably possible. We will consider reasonable rearrangement requests subject to availability and the status of the agreed service.

10

Cancellation and refunds

Cancellation and refund arrangements are set out in our separate Service Cancellation Policy and Refund Policy.

Where UK consumer cancellation legislation applies to a distance or off-premises service contract, the applicable statutory cancellation rights will apply.

Where a consumer expressly requests that a service begins during an applicable 14-day cancellation period, the applicable statutory rules concerning services supplied during that period will apply.

Where a service has been fully performed during the applicable cancellation period following the required request and acknowledgement, the statutory right to cancel may end in accordance with applicable law.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to remove or restrict a consumer’s statutory rights.

11

Service standards

Services will be provided with reasonable care and skill and in accordance with the agreed service description.

Where no specific timeframe has been agreed, applicable statutory requirements concerning reasonable time and service standards will apply.

If a service has not been provided in accordance with the agreed requirements, the client should contact us promptly so that the matter can be reviewed and an appropriate resolution considered.

12

Information and documents

Documents, schedules, notes and other materials supplied by the client remain the client’s responsibility.

The client should ensure that information provided to us may lawfully be shared for the agreed consultancy purpose.

We will handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13

Intellectual property

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, materials supplied by the client remain the property of the client or the relevant rights holder.

Consultancy notes, reports, schedules, summaries and other original materials created specifically for the agreed service may be used by the client for the project for which they were prepared.

The client must not represent ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED’s materials as independently produced by another organisation or reproduce them for unrelated commercial purposes without appropriate permission.

Nothing in this section affects rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or transferred.

14

Confidentiality

Information provided to us for the purpose of an agreed consultancy service will be treated appropriately and only used for legitimate business purposes connected with the service, subject to applicable law.

Confidentiality does not prevent disclosure where required by law, regulation, professional obligation or a lawful authority.

15

Limitation of role and responsibility

Our consultancy services are intended to support project organisation, planning and coordination. They do not replace specialist professional advice where such advice is required.

We are not responsible for decisions made independently by the client, supplier, contractor or another third party outside the agreed scope of our service.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would not be permitted by law, including liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

16

Changes to an agreed service

A material change to the agreed scope, project requirements, deliverables or timetable should be confirmed before the changed work is undertaken.

Where a requested change creates additional work or requires a different service, ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED may propose a separate scope or quotation before proceeding.

We will not treat a material additional service as automatically included merely because it relates to the same project.

17

Complaints

If a client has a concern about an agreed service, communication, requirement or delivery, the matter should first be raised with ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED so that it can be reviewed.

Our separate Complaints Policy explains the process for raising and reviewing a complaint.

Nothing in this section limits any statutory rights available to a consumer.

18

Privacy and information

Personal information collected through enquiries, consultations, forms or service administration will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

The Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, retained and handled, together with the applicable individual rights.

19

Website information

We aim to keep information on this website clear and reasonably current. Service descriptions, prices and availability may be changed from time to time.

A change to website information does not retrospectively alter a service that has already been agreed unless both parties agree to the change or applicable law requires otherwise.

20

Business and consumer clients

These terms may apply to both individual consumers and business clients.

Where the client is a consumer, applicable consumer protection legislation and statutory rights apply.

Where the client is acting in the course of a business, the commercial terms agreed for the relevant service will apply, subject to applicable law.

21

Governing law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the law applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory legal rights that apply to the client.

Where a consumer is entitled to rely on mandatory protections in another part of the United Kingdom, nothing in these terms is intended to remove those protections.
