CLEAR INFORMATION

The scope comes before the work.

Before a service begins, the relevant requirement, information, scope and expected output are clarified so that the work can be carried out against an agreed basis.

ARRANGEMENT & DELIVERY

How does the process work?

The information required depends on the service. This may include the project description, existing schedule, relevant dates, supplier information, contractor details, current progress information or specific questions that need to be reviewed.

We will identify the relevant information before the service is arranged where reasonably possible.

The stated working-day periods generally begin once the required project information has been received, the scope has been confirmed and any relevant appointment or availability has been agreed.

Where a specific date or timetable is agreed for an individual service, that agreed arrangement will apply.

Face-to-face consultations are available where agreed in advance.

The agreed consultation arrangement, location and timing will be confirmed before the appointment.

We may contact you to request the information needed to carry out the agreed service.

Where required information is outstanding, the applicable delivery period may not begin until the necessary information has been received.

This helps ensure that any review, schedule assessment or coordination work is based on the information available for the agreed scope.

Where supplier or contractor coordination forms part of the agreed service, relevant communication may be included within that scope.

The extent of communication will depend on the agreed service and information available.

ORSA PROJECTS LIMITED does not assume responsibility for the separate contractual obligations, workmanship or performance of third-party suppliers or contractors.

CANCELLATION

Cancelling a service

Where the relevant contract is a distance or off-premises consumer service contract and the statutory right applies, the consumer normally has 14 days from the day the contract is entered into to cancel without giving a reason.

The statutory cancellation right does not apply in every circumstance, so the applicable terms depend on the type of contract and how it was entered into.

The cancellation rules are set out in our Service Cancellation Policy.

Where the statutory cancellation right applies, a service will only begin during the cancellation period where the customer has expressly requested that the service begins during that period.

If the service is then cancelled during that period, an amount proportionate to the service supplied up to the time of cancellation may be due where the applicable legal requirements have been met.

Where the service has been fully performed following the required express request and acknowledgement, the statutory cancellation right may no longer apply.

A cancellation request should clearly state that you wish to cancel the relevant service or contract.

Requests can be sent using the contact details provided on our Contact Us page or through another method specified in the applicable service terms.

A clear statement is sufficient where the statutory cancellation right permits cancellation by such notice.

Where a refund is due under the applicable contract or law, it will normally be made without undue delay and within the applicable statutory timeframe.

For a statutory cancellation covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations, reimbursement is generally required no later than 14 days after the trader is informed of the consumer’s decision to cancel, subject to the applicable rules.

Where applicable, the refund will normally be made using the same method used for the original transaction, unless another method has been expressly agreed.
